Apple announces iphone 15 launch event on September 12

Apple has finally announced a launch date for the iPhone 15 and other hardware products. ‘Wonderlust’ is scheduled to launch on September 12, 2023, at 10:00 am PT (or 10:30 PM IST). The anticipation for every new iPhone release is always high, as people wait for the latest features, improvements and design changes that Apple brings to the table The event will feature specifications, the design and innovations in Apple's new iPhone 15.

The event will be organized at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus like the last year.

The main highlight of the event will be the new iphone 15 lineup with all models to include the dynamic island which we saw last year on the iphone 14 pro and iphone 14 pro max and USB Type-C charging port. The introduction of a USB Type-C charging port on the iPhone 15 series is indeed a significant change, influenced by pressures from the European Union.

Another massive change in the iphone 15 lineup will be the removal of the mute switch.

Apple is planning to add an action button instead of the mute switch which can be reprogrammed.

Other than the iphone 15 lineup, we expect the launch of the new Apple Watch Series 9 and a second-generation Apple Watch Ultra, plus the stable release of the iOS 17 update.
