Google Pixel 8a design leaked!

Google has just announced the Pixel 8 series, and it will be available for purchase starting on October 12. Now, our attention is on the Pixel 8a, which is the mid-range version of the Pixel family and has been revealed through leaks.

OnLeaks and Smartprix have teamed up to reveal high-quality renders of the Pixel 8a. Unfortunately, there aren't many exciting changes to look forward to. The Pixel 8a closely resembles the Pixel 7a, with the same 'visor' camera design.

The Pixel 8a is expected to feature dual cameras and a 6.1-inch flat display with thin borders. The display might have a layer of slightly curved 2.5D glass. The dimensions of the Pixel 8a could be approximately 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9mm, making it slightly taller and slimmer than its predecessor. It may come in peach and blue colors, and possibly more color options.

One noticeable difference is the rounded corners, a feature also present in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The top end might have an ultrawideband strip, while the bottom end will likely house the USB Type-C port and stereo speakers. The standard power button, volume rocker, and SIM tray will be placed on the sides.

As for the specifications, there aren't any confirmed details yet, but there are suggestions that the Pixel 8a might be equipped with the Tensor G3 chipset, which is the same as what's in the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, but with different clock speeds. It could also come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. We can anticipate improvements in the camera and battery departments, as well as the inclusion of Pixel-exclusive features like Photo Unblur, Magic Eraser, and more. The expected price might be below Rs 50,000.

The Pixel 8a is anticipated to be launched in 2024, possibly during the Google I/O event.
