OnePlus 12 Launch date Announced

The OnePlus 12 has been a frequent topic of discussion on the internet for a while. The anticipation is now reaching its peak as the official launch date for the OnePlus 12 has been confirmed.

The OnePlus 12 is set to make its debut on December 4 at 7 PM CST in China, as revealed by OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis in a Weibo announcement.

The OnePlus 12 is expected to feature an impressive camera setup, featuring a periscope lens. This information was officially confirmed by OnePlus at the recent BOE conference. The camera setup will include a powerful 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera, incorporating the OmniVision OV64B sensor and providing up to 3X optical zoom. Additionally, OnePlus has verified the inclusion of Sony's LYT-808 as the primary sensor, further enhancing the device's photography capabilities.


The OnePlus 12 will be equipped with the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device will have up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.


On the software side, the OnePlus 12 is anticipated to run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 straight out of the box. The display is expected to remain a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2K 120Hz LTPO display, similar to the OnePlus 11, but with a notable enhancement called ProXDR. This new display technology, named X1 Oriental Screen, is designed to deliver a peak brightness of 2600 nits and has received a DisplayMate A+ rating.


The OnePlus 12 is reported to feature a 5000mAh battery, likely supporting 150W fast charging for swift and efficient power replenishment. In terms of design, leaked renders from July 2023 suggest a resemblance to the OnePlus 11, with a glossy back and potentially more color options. A recent camera design leak hinted at the possibility of an "H" branding instead of the entire Hasselblad logo in the rear camera setup. Overall, the OnePlus 12 appears to be a promising flagship device with top-tier specifications and notable improvements in display technology.
