Xiaomi has their own Operating System for their Smartphones called MIUI. Some people like it a lot because for their customization and features, but everyone is not a fan of MIUI.

Now, Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, has shared some news. Xiaomi is making a new operating system called Xiaomi HyperOS. This new system will first come out on their new Xiaomi 14 phones, which are expected to launch in October.

It's now official that HyperOS will be released together with the Xiaomi 14 series, set to launch by the end of October 2023. Xiaomi's Vice President has also assured that HyperOS will be available worldwide and will be gradually introduced to all users in 2024.

Lei Jun has made it clear that HyperOS will not be a standalone operating system. Instead, it will be built upon a combination of advanced Android and Xiaomi's own Vela system. This approach involves a significant overhaul of the underlying technology to create a solid foundation for the future, where countless devices and connections in the Internet of Everything can work seamlessly together. So, HyperOS is rooted in Android but enhanced with Xiaomi's unique features and capabilities.
